Hinterland Kennel

Hinterland Kennel has been thoughtfully planned to create the most stress-free and enjoyable second home possible for your four-legged friend.

Each dog has its own comfortable private kennel with the freedom to go out into an adjoining outdoor run through a dog door which is open all day but secured at night.

There is also a large fenced area for supervised play, either on your dog's own, or with other dogs that are accustomed to socializing together.

We are located on a peaceful and quiet road one mile west and one mile south of Dorintosh, in the R.M. of Meadow Lake, Sask.

Premises are monitored by security cameras at all times.

Tours of the facility are available by appointment.

Limited spaces are available, so that each of our canine guests has the individualized care, attention and play time they deserve.

Please bring enough food for the time of your pet's stay, plus a bit extra in case of an unplanned extension. You may also wish to bring a few favorite toys or bedding. Any needed medications will also be administered at no extra charge.

Proof of vaccination for distemper, parvovirus, coronavirus and rabies is required. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is recommended.

Fees are $40 for each night.

We are open for pick up and drop-off seven days a week, from 8am until 6pm. Pick up or drop off outside of these hours can be done by special arrangement for an extra fee.
